TheStory
Dan Casey and Abby Adams are a successful professions couple looking forward to what should be the best years of their lives: the nest is empty; their future is secure; their marriage is characterised by stability and love. All this bliss is shattered by the death of Dan's father, leaving his mother Sarah a widow, as is Abby's mother, Claudia. Through a combination of guilt and misplaced compassion, Abby and Dan each invites the other's mother to come to live with them. The best of times suddenly becomes the worst of times in this gentle comedy of displaced affection and family secrets.
