TriviaNight 2010
Phoenix Players celebrated our 21st birthday on 3 September with a theatre themed trivia night. We were joined by many of our friends from the Canberra Theatre Community. There were teams made up of cast members from The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Cinderella, Aristocats and Urinetown, The Musical. There were also teams from companies including Supa Productions, Child Players ACT and Canberra Dramatics. It was also great to see so many of Phoenix's life members there to celebrate this milestone.
We were very pleased to have so many lovely prizes available and this would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors. The wonderful Eclipse Lighting and Sound, Klixus Photo website and Instant Colour Press donated the funds for one of our door prizes (a really cool mountain bike) and our other door prize was donated by our good friend and supporter Ms Coralie Wood (tickets for two to Swan Lake on Ice). The evening itself was made possible by The Labor Club who have supported us for the entire 21 years of our existence. The members of your committee worked very hard to pull this evening together with a huge amount of background work done on organising invitations, prizes, questions, food etc . Big thanks to the hard workers!
